Biometrics - Low score - Something to worry about?

Hi guys,

So, I went to my biometrics appointment today and the technician had a hard time getting my clear fingerprints. I noticed that every trial gets a number score along with 'yes or no' (pass or fail), and after scoring 'no' a few times, we finally got 'yes' but with a relatively poor score - I think I averaged around mid 60.

After fingerprints, the technician took my photo.

I think I'm probably okay, but can't help but wonder if they decide that my fingerprints are not clear enough and I will get another biometrics appointment notice with further instruction.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

It is possible that you could get called in again to have them re-taken. In the past Ive seen this happen to a couple of people, though it is nothing to worry about. If they think that your prints arent clear enough in the end, then they'll send you a notice to let you know that you need to return to have them re-taken.

A score of 60 should be fine, that's what mine was too.
To be sure, just call the FBI at this number: 304-625-5590.
They can tell you if your fingerprints were accepted or not

Thanks Rosie74! It's a relief to hear that someone else scored as low as I did, yet had no problem.
