RFE for name varification
I have applied/sponsored for my mother's green card. She didn't have marriage certificate to show that her last name has changed after marriage. Therefore I had submitted affidavits from 2 older relatives for birth date and another for marriage too.
Now I have got a RFE for her case. She does not have any photo identification with her maiden name. What can I do now? The RFE wording is as follows: "Name Difference: Submit documentary evidence to establish that XXXX YYYY and XXXX ZZZZ are the same person. The most persuasive evidence is photo identification in each name. If the last name is different due to a marriage, submit the marriage certificate. Note: Affidavits will not be considered primary evidence." Thanks, Subbu
