after applying I-130 can parents visit US in Vistor visa

I will be applying I-130 very shortly for my mom. But she has a vistor visa. I am planning to bring her during aug/sept. I have read saying that at POE she will be denied and sent back. Where do they ask if someone has sponsered her? I did not see that line in I-94. Does the IO at POE asks that quesiton?

or they let her in?

Once the I-130 has been filed, it may show up on the computer at the POE. If the officer notices the I-130, they will be questioned harshly about it and they will have to convince the officer that they have very strong ties to the US and will leave before the I-94 expires, and that they are going to pursue consular processing for the green card (make sure consular processing was requested on the I-130) and will not attempt to immigrate on the current visit.

I was in a similar situation. My mom has a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa, visited me twice and returned within 6 months during each trip. So, she could have tried to convince the Immigration official of her intent to return within the validity period of I-94 (given her track record) and that she didn't intend to immigrate during this trip.

However, I didn't want to subject my mom to the mercy of the immigration official at the airport (after 24+ hours of plane travel) and so decided to wait until CP is done.

hope this helps.

Debating whether to wait

or not. I want my mom to visit us in Sept and I don't want to jeoperdize her trip by filing I-130. I guess I am going to wait.
