Situation: Total 3 family member (Husband, Spouse, Chil). Sponsoring father and mother, so filed separate I 130 application both got approved now time to file I 864. I will send two separate I 864 forms for my father and mother (as separate application) in one packet. Now how do I count number of people? This is our first sponsorship
Let’s say if I filled my mother first then she will be 4th person. Or if I filed my father first he will 4th.

So how do I count? should I count as (4th and 5th) or (4th and 4th)person at our family. As I don't know how NVC will open the application packet!

Can any one please shade alight on this.

Explanation: This section asks you to add together the number of personsfor whom you are financially responsible. Some of thesepersons may not be residing with you. For example, yourspouse (whom you would enter on line 21c) might also be alawful permanent resident whom you have already sponsoredusing Form I-864 (line 21f). If you included your spouse online 21c, do not include him or her again on line 21f.

If i understand correctly you are sponsoring your father and mother and you have total of 3 members in your household. In this case while filling I-864 part 3 Q.8 you would check this box and also yes box for Q.8 follow up. You will not fill or check box 9 since you are submitting each seperate individual I-864 for intending immigrant and enter 1 in Q.10. Reg Q. 21 a.1;b.1;c.1;d.1;h.4; You follow same step for your other parent's I-864
