sponsoring green card second time
I'm a us citizen, currently planning to petition green card for my spouse. This is my second marriage; my ex-spouse was also an alien, whom I had sponsored green card successfully. We divorced after five years of marriage, while my ex-spouse was still a permanent resident. Will my history negatively affect the green card petition for my current spouse? Does anyone have similar experience in sponsoring green card a second time?

will not affect your second sponsorship as long as your marriages are all real.
In fact, as long as you convince the officer that your marriages are bona fide during the interview, the application for your second foreign wife will be approved. In the interview, the officer might ask you questions about your previous marriage though.
