Fingerprint Notice after filing Writ of Mandamus

Hello Experts,

What do you guys think is going on in my case here:

I have 2 I-485 cases pending:

The first EB3 has been pending at Nebraska Service Center since April 2004 (PD: February 2003) non retrogressed country.

The Second EB2 has been pending at the Chicago District office since January 2007 (PD: September 2006) non retrogressed country. Had interview for this case and was told that the A-file has been lost.

Now in November 2008 I filed WOM for my first case (EB3). Since then my second case (EB2) has been transfered to Nebraska and there have been daily LUDs in this case. Then I just received a fingerprint notice for my first case (EB3) that has had no LUDs lately. I completed my fingerprints a couple of days ago.

What do you guys think is going on. My atty. told me that this means that the case is about to be adjudicated.

Any idea?
