485 pending on Principal, but pricipal already approved.

485 pending on Principal, but pricipal already approved.

Hi Guys,

My 485 got approved on Dec 15 2008. Since my wife didn't get any news about her in a week, we opened a query by calling USCIS... Surprisingly we received a reply in a week and the letter said:

"based on principals status, your application is pending"

Its confusing since I'm the principal applicant and I already got approved.

I was wondering if anyone else has received a similar reply?
