I-130 Approved - Married thereafter

Hi there,

My father (LPR) had applied for my LPR when I was under 21. After several years, the I-130 approval has finally come through. After this approval had been granted, I've recently married as well. My questions are:

- Does my recent marriage nullify this approval?
- Is it correct to say eligibility would be established at the time of application?

I've read through the Immigration Act but can't seem to find anything that would explicitly suggest a connection.

Any advice or thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Mantissa

Not at this time. Because of his overseas posting he couldn't pursue his citizenship even though he's had his LPR for nearly 25 years!

Any thoughts on what I could possibly do?

Thanks!!
