Separation of files at texas service center
My gc was approved on september 2007, my husband's still pending. We wento to infopass on 11/21/08 and the IO said our files were separated. She asked us to bring a copy of the approved notice for the i140, a copy of the approved notice of my i-485 and copy of my green card. We took all the docs the same day and gave them to her, she said she was going to physically send this to texas (in the mail, because we are in dc) and that our files will be put together and he will be approved, given that his pd is current.
I am really concerned, because his case is dependent of mine, and if they are separated maybe he will be denied. Any input? Thanks
