Do you still need to renew H1 & h4 for wife

I have already gotten my work permit for 1 year, and now I have it renewed second time, did my finger print already, and have applied for I-485 as well,
do I still need to renew my h1, i have work permit for two years, and I am still working for same company.

Short answer is - no, you don't have to renew your H1 and H4. But before doing that consider other factors - are you willing to accept risk to take unpaid vacation in case your EAD is not renewed in time? Are you willing to take risk to fall out of status if for any reason your I-485 is denied?
So better renew H1 and H4.
