please help...:(
Hi All,
I entered US back from India on Feb 2008 using AP.I have H1b visa upto 2010. I was with my GC sponsor employer until 1 month back. After coming back from India, I did not changed my employer or used EAD to work. So my question is, was I on H1b or EAD? Other question is I joined another company recently, can they do h1b extension? Please advice...

If you stopped working for your previous company you should do an H1B transfer and leave the US to get a new H1B stamp since you are out of status if you don't receive a salary. You can try a change of status, but it might be denied.
