Im married to an indian citizen and my i485 is pending

Hi guys

Im married to an indian citizen and i bought her to USA on H4 visa.

Now my i485 is pending, i wanted to file I485 for my wife but my lawyer saying that my case may jump and could cause a delay in processing, and he(lawyer) suggesting that i could wait until the PD become current.

Im not so sure why shouldn't my wife use the luxary of filing I485 that surely could get her EAD and AP.. right?

Is there any way that i can do it on my own without my Lawyer?

Please suggest me what would be the best option for my wife to do.

Since your wife is derivative of your I-485, unless priority dates are current for you, you cannot file wife's I-485

Thank you very much for your response... Can i apply her EAD and Advanced Parole? or she just have to wait until PD is current? and how can i find my PD is current?

Until your PD is current you cannot file EAD of AP for your wife, and the minute you become current you should file all the documents for your wife.
