When can the I-485 be filed?
Hi, I have a pretty simple question. I would like to file both I-140 and I-485 together after the PERM labor is approved. However, my lawyer is saying that only I-140 can be filed, and that we have to wait for a "window" or quota to open for filing the I-485 application.
I was under the impression that you can file both of these immediately after PERM labor is approved. We are applying in EB2 category. Thanks in advance for your help.
