Returning with AP...Permanent Resident or not ?
What channel should a person traveling with AP go through at the airport (port of entry) - the green channel (for US citizens and permanent residents only) or the one for people with visas ?
Also should people with AP fill in I-94 ? Thanks in advance. GCWantedASAP001 |

The strange thing is that they make you fill out a I-94, which is a record of departure, while your adjustment of status to permanent resident is pending. If you fill out a I-94 after you get your GC they revoke it. But when you ask them for permanent resident status, they want you to fill out a departure record, despite GC being for people who want to live here permanently. Only USCIS understands this logic.
