Finally! interview after 13mos
Got my GC appointment date on Friday, Sept 19th. Appointment is in San Francisco Oct 15th. That's 13 months since I filed the i-485.
Got additional generic sheet requesting court disposition of arrest (case dropped after community service). I already submitted paperwork about this but I guess it's the reason they requested appointment? I'll get a new disposition paperwork from the court and I hope that does it for me, It's been 17-1/2 years since I applied for asylum.

Congrats!
Does getting an interview mean getting closer to 'green card approval'? I've got a request for an interview on the Mar 19, 2009 and my PD is Oct 23, 2003 (EB3).... can I anticipate to see some light at the end of the tunnel?

labor filed: Oct 2006 140 approved: April 2007 485+131+765 filed: august 06 2007 EB3 - India Check cashed: Sep 20 2007 Notice date: Sep 19 2007 Dec 2007: joined spun out company May 2008: extended H1 for 3 years based on approved I-140 Feb 2009: switched employer, H1 transfer - another 3 years Feb 2009 - sent AC 21 papers to USCIS Mar 2009 - Got new EAD and AP May 2009 - case transferred to NBC, and LUDs
