Just received letter to go to US Consulate, Juarez.

Hello everyone.

I am new here and I have been painstakingly going through this process with my husband, who is from Mexico. We are currently in Alabama and he is the sole provider of our family. We are a family of four, one 3 year old and a 5 month old. They are his children. I stay at home with them.

I just got the letter for him to go to the Juarez consulate office for his interview. My brother and sister in law have already done this and they rejected his VISA application there. She moved back to Oregon and he stayed behind in MX. They are now divorced due to the time that has gone by.

I am scared about this because there is no other income. He is the provider of our home. He pays his taxes as well and is a manger of a restaurant.

Any encouragement or advice would be well appreciated. Thank you for reading.

from what I gathered from my lawyer, was that if you entered legally you could stay and have your interview here, but if you at some point left the country and came back illegally (even if you came legally here in the first place) then you had to go do the interview in mexico. Sorry if this isnt much help.

Is the interview for a Green Card? Did he enter legally? Is his I-94 expired?
