I-130 for a brother.taking so long
Hello..
I have completed and filed the I-130 and all needed documents, i wrote a check for the filing fee, i mailed everything to the instructed address on July 15 2008 (2 months ago) and i still didn't recieve ANYTHING.
is this normal, what could be the problem?

8 weeks is a very normal time.

then wait for a couple of more weeks, and then call USCIS.

I think you need to call them immediately. You should call them if 4 wks go by without hearing from them, which you are way over.
