Child Status change
What is the status of the child who is on H4 visa when the principal H1 holder moves to EAD status? In this situation, how can we extend I-94 for the child after the expiry of the current I-94 of the child? please input needed

If I-485 has been filed for the child then the status will be "AOS pending" and you don't need to extend child's I-94 in this case. If the child enters the US using AP then the status will be "parolee" and you will get a new I-94 for another year, but again, if the child has I-485 filed and pending then I-94 expiration date doesn't matter.
