AP dates overlap..How to USE?

Hi Friends,

Me and my wife both applied EAD and AP (Efiling). Our current AP is expiring on 5/Oct/2008. My wife went India on 21/Aug/2008 (She applied AP when she was here).Yesterday I got my wife renewed AP from 24/Aug/2008 to 1 year.

Here dates are over lapping more than 1 month.

So Now which AP she can use. Current one or Renewed one?
Is that Ok, If she comes with renewed AP after 5/oct/2008?

1- She has to use the same AP she had when she left. So she has to use the current one.

2- No, it's not allowed to stay outside the country beyond the expiration of the AP that one has when one leaves the country. The new AP is valid for future travel outside of the US, but for this current trip, she has to use the same AP she had when she left the US.

If you use the word "issue" instead of the word "problem", I am much less likely to respond to you. I am also somewhat less likely to respond if you use the word "back" instead of "ago", or if you use the word "back" immediately after the word "return".
