Do I need to apply for new SSN and driver's license etc.?

Do I need to apply for new SSN card and Driver's license after becoming "permanent resident" today?

I thought life was supposed to be simpler, looks like not yet.

Thanks

Who said you need to renew your SSN and DL after you have GC? SSN is given once in your life. That cannot be renewed. Drivers license can be renewed only if your old DL expires or you move to another location. After getting your GC you should celebrate and enjoy instead of worrying about these little things which don't even need atention.

After GC life is always green and joyful and enjoy the fruits.

More than 200k people like us are still waiting for the good news......

If your SSN shows "valid for work only on DHS authorization" you can have that removed and ask for a "clean" one. Other than that, like JaiDurga said, nothing else needs to be changed.
