AP approval - 2 weeks
Guys,
Just want to let you all know that we have applied for AP for me and my wife on 12th Aug 2008 at TSC and we got the approval today.It took just over two weeks to get an approval.We applied EAD on same time and no news yet.

congrat! have a safe trip, you do not need EAD to travel.

advance parole question
Hello
I have an AP approved dated by the end of 2007 and I'm planning to travel abroad. I already applied for renewal of my EAD, and my I485 is still in process
I have some questions about the advance parole document.
Does the AP have an expiration date?
Do I show it to the officer upon arrival to the US only?
Do I have to carry another documents as well?
Do I have to do any kind of application at the embassy while in my country?

1-Yes, one year from the approval date.
2-To the airline official in the country overseas to let you in the plain/ship.....and also to immigration official at the port of entryin USA upon arrival.
3-No, just valid passport with the AP
4-Nope.

Do we have a online application guide for AP in this forum? Online I-767 EAD application guide was so useful.
