Naturalization & moving - Continued

Ok I'm separating from my wife & i might file for divorce in the near future anyways. I rented a room from friend and i got me a mailbox with UPS so i always get my mail and i don't lose any mail especially from USCIS. I changed my address at the post office to my mailbox.

The steps i took was contacting USCIS by phone & reporting change of address & they gave me a confirmation number. And they told me i need to go on their website & submit an AR-11 form and i did that and i got another confirmation number.

I did NOT give USCIS my new HOME address but i gave them my new mailing address for my mailbox which is in the same City & Zip Code where i used to live with my wife. So my DO did not change. If you are curious my new HOME address is also in the same city and it belongs to the same DO.

I did the change of address over the phone & website on 08/19/08 and i received a notice today (actually it is the 1st letter i receive in my new mailing address wow right). Anyways the Notice had a different receipt number. Its my receipt number from back when i was working on my residency & GC in 2002-04. Why are they using that receipt number?? Also the notice says the following:

Your application for permanent resident status is being processed. If approved, a permanent resident card will be mailed directly to you from our Immigration Card Facility. If you do not hear from us within 30 days of the date shown on this notice, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

what do they mean by that notice??And why are they using my old receipt number?

here is some info on the notice:
- Case Type: 1181
- Receipt date: 03/09/2002
- Notice date: 08/19/2008

Got same GC notice when did my USCIS address change as well this month.

It does look kinda strange, but then again, I've seen so many strange things while dealing with USCIS for the past 9 years that I really not surprised at all.

The USCIS is not dealing with mailbox number at all and most of their letters are non forwardable to mailbox number or to any other address. If you change your address to mailbox number with the post office, any letter from the USCIS will be returned undeliverable back to the USCIS.

That might be true if you are talking about a P.O. Box. But a mail box with Kinkos or UPS is actually a physical address.
And to prove that i already received 2 confirmation letters (1 to confirm that i receive mail there & 1 to tell me that my application has been updated with the new address).
