J-1 waiver/Sponsor Views

I joined National Institutes of Health (NIH) on J-1 visa as postdoctoral fellow in 2005 and then moved to a University in 2007. Recently I applied for J-1 waiver and DOS (Department of State) requested for “Sponsor Views”. If you had any such experience please help me to find out:

1. Who is the sponsor in this situation, NIH or University?
2. Would I receive the copy of “Request for Sponsor Views” or it only goes to the sponsor?

J1 waiver sponsor views

Did you get sponsor views from NIH? Do they send it directly to DOS or give a letter to you? Hope everything works fine for you!
