I-485 delayed even though EB2 / India visas available in August 2008 bulletin
My I-140 was approved in November 2004 under NIW category. This was a concurrent filing. I-485 processing has been delayed since December, 2004. I am on EAD since Jan 2005.
Folks at Info Pass / USCIS said FBI name check has been cleared and waiting for Dept of State visas to become available for EB2 / India category. My priority date is November, 2004. As per August 2008 Visa bulletin, they are issuing visas to all applicants with priority date of 01 June 2006 which is past my priority date. Can I expect my green card this month? What are my options at this point? 1. Should I contact my senators's office so that they can obtain the latest status from TSC / Congressional relations? and / or 2. File for Writ of Mandamus (WOM)? Appreciate your help. Thanks, Kimayo

My priority date was Jul 7, 2004 (EB2-NIW), concurrent application, and 485 was approved two days ago (VSC transferred to TSC). We had to call TSC quite a few times.
