RFE for AP (derivative appplicant) renewal
my spouse's AP (renewal) online status showing an RFE was issued, however we haven't received yet(it's been only 3 days since RFE).

I would appreciate any thought and ideas what could be the RFE for? or any one in similar situation?

Probably proof that your spouse is here legally and in valid non-immigrant status (copy of passport, visas, etc). Sometimes they also screw up handling the pictures and want new pictures.

RFE asking pictures, though photos were sent with the supporting documents.

Yeah, they did the same to me. They wanted copies of documents I already attached to the I-485, with a nice index and everything. Just send it it. As you can see from my signature they usually approve you right after your response.

Just I am adding the information against an RFE. They may even ask for Minicipal registered birth certificate obtained from India at the time of birth. If it is registered late, then you may need to provide 2 affidavits from close relatives(parents/elder brother etc) of your wife to confirm the date of birth.
