A few questions about AOS throung marrige

Hi,

I have a few questions about family based green cards, here is the case:

She is permanent resident of Canada, came to US on B2, got marriged with a USC after 3 months of entry. She is going to AOS while she is still in States. She has a 10 year old son also a permanent resident of Canada but now is in his home country with his father.

1. She plan to bring her son over to States after 2 years,
Can she apply for her son at the same time with her or should wait later since he is not coming over right away? Does her son still has " follow to join benefit" if apply later on? How long it will take if she appy for her son after she got green card?

2. Since her son is not in States, his case should be pocessed in the consular, that would be in Canada or in his home country?

3. What happened if they became Canadian citizens when they are in process of green cards or after they got green cards? What should they do with the passports and paperworks?

4. Can she apply with her marrige name when she file for AOS? Does she need to do something with her old IDs, passport and documents?
