i-130 process

can anybody direct me to web site where it list the details of how the i-130 process?

i have recently petition for my mother who is in India and not sure how this all works...

does anybody have any experience to share here?

We must be on different portals. I simply put in "parent I-130" and hit 239 posts.

5/22/08 - checks cashed, receipt numbers from Missouri MSC
5/23/08 - receipt numbers not up on case status website yet
waiting on notices...

I am sorry. Since most of the people on this forum are doing Adjustment Of Status, it won't really help to ask questions here. The best place to find a lot of info about this would be www.immihelp.com. They have plenty of help there. I found help there too. I filed an I-130 for my husband. let me start of by telling you that if you are rerouted to the Vermont Service Center, sit back and wait because it it is going to be a while. They have been processing cases from July 3oth for 3 months.
