need help in my waiver based on NOS case

Hi,

Last week, I sent my waiver application to DOS. I filled up the application forms at the DOS online link, and got my case number. Now, my NOS is to be forwarded to the DOS through my home country embassy. My home country embassy already got the clearance about the issuance of NOS. The embassy could forward the NOS tomorrow.

However, my case is not shown up (up to now) on the DOS website (through check the case status webpage). I sent the form the St. Louis address, where a contractor after depositing the money in the DOS account forward the documents to DOS at the Washington DC address. I think that could take about at least 2 weeks.

Should I ask my embassy to wait until my case is shown up on the DOS website. Or they could forward the NOS at any time.
