Anyone have transferred your home based retirement funds into 401K?
I am from Peru and i still have some money in the peruvian retirement system. I was wondering about transferring all my funds into my current 401K.
I called the peruvian company and they gave me all the paperwork and stuff i have to do, but when i called my 401K company, they told me that they can't receive any money from other country by law  Is this true? I know i might get more money in the peruvian system, specially how the american economy is right now, but i feel more comfortable having all in one place.... next to me
