Keep track of your trips

My friend who filed for citizenship sometime back advised that the form for citizenship requires that you indicate the days & period of time spent abroad even if it is Canada or Mexico. So please keep track of all trips since 5 years is a long time to rely on memory. I have taken a copy of the page of citizenship form which indicates that info & will fill in my recent trip abroad.

Yeah, taking notes of your travels can help when applying for citizenship. It is also important to have regular transactions in US such as bank accounts.

Good info. I guess i good idea would be to use a standard travel template to make things consistent.

I kept a simple txt file on my PC (on two different HDs) where all my trips were recorded. I did this for both my naturalisation episodes.
