starting a company after getting a green card
Hi,
Does it impact in any way citizenship eligibility, if you start a company after getting a green card instead of working for the green card sponsor beyond 6 months period time ? Thanks, |

All the best!

Not so simple. You should expect to have equally as much trouble with obtaining citizenship as others who left their employer as quickly as you (whether they changed to a new employer or started their own company).

Generally speaking, this means that they are working on a 1099 basis with a US entity, doing something similar to the LC job.
