Re Entry Requirement

Can anybody tell me Iam a from europe winner of DV2008 and I am an employee

When I come to states I' d like to apply for Re entry permit .While doing that
shall I need any proof of document e.g .letter from employer to support REP .
or just filling the form with info will be enough .
secondly is it certain that I get the REP approved in my case ?

There is no guarantee of getting a REP approved.

How fast do you intend to apply for it? If you arrive in the US and apply after just 1 month, it won't look good.

Remember that even while outside the US on a re-entry permit, you need to establish ties of residence to the US. Meaning you should have an apartment or house in the US, bank accounts in the US, etc. Applying for a REP right away makes it appear that you never established residence in the US in the first place.

Also, a re-entry permit is valid only for a maximum of two years and cannot be extended (although it is possible to get another one after returning from the first one).

Do you want the green card or not? Be prepared to give up your job in Europe if you want to get and keep a green card. Hopefully you can convince them to give you a position in the US.

Yes, you can go back home for up to 6 months without a problem. However, if you leave the US for such an extended time shortly after first arriving, for citizenship purposes they might start your five-year clock at the point when you came back to the US from that trip, rather than the first day when you enter the US. No big deal, it just means you'd have to wait a few extra months to become eligible for citizenship.

In addition, the visa they gave you after you passed your interview should be valid for six months (check it to make sure). You don't have to enter the US right away; you can enter anytime while that visa is still valid. So you might want to spend that month or two taking care of things in your home country before leaving for the US, rather than going back and forth.

My wife does not work (house wife )and kid is a student .

For REP ,Do I need to apply I 131 for them seperately and paying triple fees
or just apply bymyself with adding them on the form and pay single appl. fee ?
Also Do I need to send photos of them too?

Each family member who is going to leave the US for more than a year needs a I-131 with fees and photos for each.
