Got GC

Hi Everybody,

I got my GC yesterday. I wasn't expecting it, but welcome it for sure

My EB2 PD was July 2005 and the date of issue on the card is 8/14/07.

But I had the impression that EB2 wasn't available in August 2007. That's what I learned from the Visa Bulletin.

So what's going on. Is USCIS following any rules for issuing GCs, or whomever's case is on the top of the pile is getting approved ?

USCIS has already allocated some visa numbers to some of the pending cases and they continue to approve those cases which has visa numbers were assigned. I guess they would have allocated the visa number to your application.

Just relax and enjoy your freedom man.
