a question on G-325A form

a stupid question but really bothers me: I am going to file I-130 petition for my wife so also need to file G-325A together.

I have a question on how to fill the last box of the 1st row in the G-325A form, the "File Number A". what does this mean? what should I fill in this box?

please advice and thanks much in advance!

Alien Number is a number assigned to you by USCIS. If she does not have one already (she probably doesn't) then put none.

If you are an US Citizen, make sure you send both I-130 and I-485 at the same time.

thanks PraetorianXI,

but since I became a US citizen, do I still need put my Alien number in the G-325A form?

and what did you mean filing I-485 together with I-130? I am planning to apply green card for my wife who is currently not in the US. I didn't read anywhere in the USCIS website about filing I-485 in these cases. could you please share more on this?

thanks again,

Nevermind, I thought your wife WAS in the US.

But, as far as YOUR I-130 goes, yes, you have to put YOUR Alien Number.
