Interview letter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...but.....

I just received my interview letter today in the mail. It says that I need my I-94 along with some other documents. I don't have the I-94 but I have a stamp in my passport for my last entrance. Do you think that's going to be a problem? I've seen a few post about interviews where they didn't even ask for the I-94. I would apply for the replacement now, but I don't think I will get it before the interview. The interview date is OCTOBER 4th.

It is almost mandatory to have the I-94, just before leaving the IO Office on my interview day (approved on 8/14/07 Miami Office), he asked for my-I-94 and said "you never left the US since 2003".
I would suggest that you either make an Infopass and show them the stamp on your passport or call USCIS and ask them if it is really necessary for you to file for a replacement.
The I-94 is a way for the IO to know that you were inspected at a POE.

yes go ahead and file for replacement 1-94, and if you do not get it before then at least you would have a receipt to show prove, that you filed.

I have no idea. I was 14 or 15 the last time I entered the US. I didn't know about I-94s or anything like that. I traveled by myself, so I could have lost it or something. I have a stamp in my passport though from an US agent at the airport with the last date of entrance.

What forms would I get for a replacement I-94?
how long does it take?

What did you send them when they asked you for a copy of I-94?
Your EAD was approved without it, so maybe you do not need it. Also I was told that you could try to make infopass and they give you some official paper about it.
I have a similar problem, I have a copy but no original of my I-94.

well well i think a copy will do... but just file for replacement in case they ask it, EAD approval has very little effect on your 1-94 but your GC will, so i would file for the replacement if i was in your shoe.. just to be covered...

AOS based on marriage to USC, if you have a stamp in your passport that you were paroled into the USA. it is good enough. They are asking for ur I-94 to be sure that you were paroled in.

A stamp is meaningless (unless paroled in), because you could have left the US (I-94 taken away) and then re-entered without inspection thru Mexican or Canadian border, as far as they are concerned.

exactly. So by all means you will have to explain to them or show prove of receipt of replacement.
