Anyone filed with New Orleans DO

Hello Guys
I am getting a little anxious as I am in the north Louisiana area and my application for AOS is with the New Orleans DO. I filed my 130/485/765 applications on March 1st 2007 and I received my work permit on may 24th but there is no news about the 130 and 485. I am hoping to travel to my home country in Feb/March next year. I just wanted to see if anyone else is in the same boat as I am. Also if anyone can provide any input as to whether I should file the 131 for travel permit or would it not work since my previous F1 visa has already expired. Anyone of you guys can suggest anything then please do.

Heres my Time line
DO: New Orleans
Filed 130/485/765 to Chicago Lockbox: 03/01/07
Notice for all the applications: 03/09/07
765 approved: 05/24/07
LUD on 130 /485: 03/26/07
Still waiting for the interview notice

Thanks

Make an infopass http://infopass.uscis.gov/ and find out what is up with your case. You SHOULD have your interview letter by now.

Thanks

I guess the New Orleans office is pretty slow as indicated by the priority dates. I will wait for a month and then make an infopass and see what is going on.
Actually my DO is 350 miles away so i will have to take couple of days off from work to go do that and that too no knowing whether i will find out something worthwhile or not. Anyway....thanks for your input.

OK, if that is the case. Call USCIS costumer service and ask about your case.

Nairobian, people who request advance parole usually do so because they do not have a visa. They are expecting one. (hence the advance part)
I'm sure the OP has figured out what to do about that by now.
