Fedex won't mail to P.O. Box

hmm. I went to send out my package at FEDEX during lunch. They said they wouldn't mail anything to PO box and that I need to go to post office. I can go after work but I was wondering why my lawyer told me to send it from FEDEX if this was the case. Did everyone send your stuff to Chicago from post office?

yes no P.o. box for fedx, by the way why are u using a p.o. box for a return address, uscis tends to be suspicious of using poboxes as supose to home adress.. especially if this is a case based on family.."marriage", but since you are on the empoyment based i hope that will not be a problem...not sure there....?????
just a pointer.
For the chicago box, i personally used air mail at the post office and they got it in 2 days.. but remebre to apply signature/return receipt on it.

return address? I am using my physical address for return address but I am sending this to P.O. Box 805887, Chicago, IL 60680-4120 and it is marriage base GC. On the FEDEX paper, it says No POBOX for 'receipent'.

oh sorry about the misunderstanding... try UPS... then or regular post boffice.
That is strange because i read on here how people use fedex overnight to the chicago box, maybe they do excemptions if you had explained to them that its a government box with signature of receiver on arrival.

I know..I have seen other posts stating that they used FEDEX too. I thought I was missing something or possibly sending to the wrong address! Maybe there is an actual address for Chicago location.

I will go to post office to be safe. Thanks

there is another address for the Chicago lockbox. It is not a po box and it is meant for private curiers. I do not have the address with me but it is something "la salle". Find it.

Well, I used PO box for all my AOS process w/o any problems. I know other people who have used PO boxes.

There are quite a few reasons people take PO boxes. In most cases, PO boxe is a safe place where you don't lose your mail. Also, people who live in rural areas prefer PO boxes for important mails.

Just because somebody used PO box, he/she is not going to get stokes interview!!
