Job shift???/

Hi
I recently got my GC thru EB1 category My derivatiaves application still peding thou.Can I change my job in such case when spouse I-485 is pending
Also how soon after getting GC can you change a job..Since I have been approved in managerial role should I be shifting to a job with a similar profile or can i opt for soemthing which would suggest that I am still in IT in any lead role or so??
Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you self-sponsor your EB1? If yes you can change jobs anytime. If not, you can still change jobs anytime and your wife will still get her GC, but you may have problems with getting citizenship.

He eventually got through after providing documentation to show why he left so soon, but as you can see he had to dig himself out of a hole. After seeing a growing trend of people leaving their jobs soon, USCIS may get more strict about it by the time you are eligible for citizenship. There is no hard and fast rule yet, but 6 months seems to be the amount of time stated by most attorneys as being "safe".
