oversea, Greencard

My wife got a offer from a US company, but send her oversea. She will stay oversea for a long period of time. I am also going to oversea for a long period of time.

We know it will broke the condition for applying for the citizenship. But how could we maintain the green card while stay oversea?

We know one way is to obtain the re-entry permission I 130 form.

If we stay longer than 2 year? how could we maintain the green card?

Please advice us.

cheers

You need I-131, not I-130.

You can't stay away longer than 2 years straight and keep the green card, unless you meet one of the limited exceptions like being in the US military.
