I 864 Plz Help Got Confused
Hello , Can any one tell me whether I864 affidavit of support form will be submitted at NVC centre or beneficiry can take them at the time of interview. My PD is going to b current in next month. They have send my 2 form ds230 n I 864. My Mother is petitioner staying in USA. Plz help me do we need to send I864(affidavit of support form) TO NVC or do i have to take here(India) at the time of Interview to show this at VFS centre.Plz write if anyone have any information regarding I864. Appreciate for your kind help.

From what I know it has to be reviewed by NVC. From what I remember reading it is only reviewed at the interview when the file doesnt go through the NVC, if the petition for instance was filed in New Dehli or any other direct consular filing then you would submit it for the interview. I am sure some of the experts here will be able to give you a more definitive answer.
