New Yorkers

Does anyone know how to get to Garden City by public transportation. I mean I know what train to get there but the problem is when I get off the train.

The thing is my interview is 7am and I am not sure if taxis are available in that area at that time. So if there is anyone that went there by public transportation, please tell me how you got there. Thank You.

PS , i live in Brooklyn

Hey semaja, I dont remember the train number, but I was able to walk from the closes subway station to the building in about 10-15 mins (if not less).

check this website for bus and train route and timings. you may want to check " the long island rail Road" either in the site below or www.lirr.org

Thank you guys. I know what train to take and I am aware of the schedule. The one that seems most convenient is the "Hempstead Line" and then I get off at Country Life Press. The thing is to get from that stop to 711 because the walk actually seems like 30 minutes from "hopstop.com".

I wish I had gotten Federal Plaza, it would have been so much easier.
