I140 on EB-1, workplace is shutting down - ***please help***!
Hi,
I have a pending I-140 on an EB-1 filing, and my company is going to be shutdown soon. I've heard two contradicting opinions about when I can switch to a different company: 1. After obtaining an EAD, 180 days passing from I-140 filing, AND I-140 approved. 2. After obtaining an EAD is enough - no need to wait 180 days or I-140 approval. Which is true? Can you provide reference for reading on the subject? Thanks!
