Green Card OR H-1?????

I am a 37 years old unmarried Canadian citizen. My parents are US citizens. My questions are:

A. If my parents apply for my immigration to US. How long will it take for me to get the US immigration?

B. While my immigration application is filed, can I also get the H-1 visa or any other visa to work in the US?

C. What are my options to work in the US while my immigration application is pending in US??
