H1B Extension Receipt Notice
Hi All,
Could you please help me? My H1B petition was filed for an extension of stay more than two weeks back. The law firm did not receive my receipt notice yet. I just asked my lawyer about it and he said it takes more time. I am not sure about it. Can you please let me know whether is it take long time now-a-days to receive Receipt notice. Thanks for your help.

Yes it is taking more than 4 weeks to get receipt, that is what I was saw on USCIS site. My 8th Year H1 Extn was mailed out on April 14th, and we are still waiting for receipt.
Since it has been 2 weeks, did you get any update on your case yet? Quote:

Did anyone rerceive the receipt. Another person on murthyforum.com mentioned that filed on April 17 and received receipt on May 15 VSC.
