PR for Canada after PR in US
I am permanent resident in United States. I wish to apply for PR for Canada too. My question is - will my application for Canadian PR affect my later citizenship for United States. Thanks in advance for your replies.

It could (and likely) will be interpreted by USCIS as abandonment of your US residency.

I echo RealCanadian sentiments as it may effect your US Citizenship requirements as applying for Canadian LPR will cloud your intent for US Citizenship. However, this statement is made without knowing any details about your case as you provided none. But generally applying for Candian LPR if you are also planning for US Citizenship soon is a bad idea......

It would be best to get your USC first ---- then apply for Canadian PR.
