Yes, its totally normal. Online case status doesn't change when you get your interview letter, you don't even get a LUD.

Did you apply for EAD? If not, then sometimes FP can be done on or after the interview.

Hi,

I dont have my timeline info to hand but its roughly -

Feb 9th sent off i-130 and 485 (no 131 or EAD)
feb 12th reciept for the above

March 5th RFE (medical forms)
March 10th sent off medical

Today got interview letter for AOS dated 4th of June but nothing regarding fingerprints!

1 more quick question?????

The interview letter has a list of items to bring for the interview but none of them are ticked?

im assuming that because they already have the medical and affadavit of support etc they will have that present on the interview date without us having to bring it or request it back before then?

None of them are checked b/c it is to be used as a checklist by you, the interviewee. Even if you sent stuff like medical info., take copies with you, won't hurt. Good luck!!

Those aren't checkboxes, they're bullet points. Bring everything listed on that form.

Your doctor really should have given you photocopies of the stuff in the sealed envelope. However I wouldn't worry to much, unless USCIS have lost the original you sent them, its unlikely they'll ask you for a copy.

I have received I-693 with the interview letter. does this mean that i should be redoing the medical? they also sent me an affidavit of support form but my case is employment based. i thought AS applies only for marriage based cases.

What you do mean you received I-693 with the interview letter? A copy of the form?

yes - they included a form with the letter, but the instructions say if you have not filed it then you must go through examination. i have filed the form with my 485 but i have no way of knowing whether they lost it or not. what to do?

I would guess that they would have sent you an "Request for Intial Evidence" letter if they had lost the medical. That said, I would say that what they have done (including the forms with the interview letter) is extremely unusual behaviour.
