Status of H1-B after getting Green Card
Hi folks,
my H1-B is still valid for another one year. If I get my green Card today, will my H1-B become automatically invalid? Or do I have choice to still use it, before I officially switch to Green Card? If so, how do I switch to Green Card? using it for job? or using it during travel? a bundle of thanks in advance for replies.

like if somebody is travelling abroad on H-1, and his GC gets approved. will he be able to get back to USA on H-1 or not? or does he need someone to fetch his GC? Actually I am planning to travel too :-)

Hi all,
Yesterday my GC was mailed and by next week hopefully it will reach me. Now what should I do with I-94 (I know it does become invalid) and H-1B since it is valid till end of this year 2007. Simply keep them with me and while travelling abroad we can hand in at the airport while getting the boarding pass? Any feedback is appreciated
