I am worried about Interview ----- just married, no any joint account
After seeing so many AOS interview experience. I start to worried more and more about my interview. I believe my marriage is the 500% real one. we just get married about 5 months. But we have been commitment to each other for 4.5 years before that. but we didn't get wedding yet (waiting for my AP to go back my country for wedding), we even live in different cities for all the time even now. the only thing with our name on is my new car insurance. no joint bank account, no properties, not even a wedding pictures. only about 30 pictures for these years life, graduation day.... traveling.... oh, I also have those email confirmations for about 17 airplane round trips between our cities during these four years. my interview place is Harlingen, TX, the border city to Mexico. anyone have idea about this situation, thanks ppCandy Last edited by crystalduan; 19th April 2007 at 03:47 PM. |

Evidence of co-mingling of assets is key. Get your spouse to put them on their bank account, health insurance, car insurance. If you rent or lease, see if you can get your name on the rental agreement.
USCIS should understand that your marriage is new, but a few steps like those above should give you more evidence. It should be noted that evidence of co-mingling of assets is the only evidence I was personally asked for at interview, so it can't be underestimated. Our interviewer was uninterested in photos or letters. "Too easily faked" apparently.
