Employer liability for employee

Hello,

I have a little bit an unusual question. My employer moved me to the US 8 years ago on H1B, meanwhile I got the GC (not trough employer tough). Is my employer still responsible for relocation expenses if I move back home voluntarily as he was when I was in the US on H1B ? My Employer did not sponsor my GC.

Thanks

No. Once you became a Permanent Resident you ceased to be in H-1 status, and any obligations they had towards you arising from that status ceased.
