I-751 Card Production Ordered

I submitted by I-751 sometime in Aug2006 and signed up for case status online. I just got an email saying that the current status is: Card Production Ordered. It also said, "On March 28, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."


That basically means it's approved, right?
Also, how long until the expiration of the new gc?

congratulations!!! absolutely,your case has been approved

i dont know when they approved your application, but i think your new card will be valid to march 2017

I tried to sign up for updates but it would not allow me to input my reciept number saying that is not valid. I am curious as to where you signed up for this

I created a customer portfolio account here, https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

and then i signed up for email updates.

The receipt number is the number with 3letters preceding it depending on where you filed your application. Mine for example starts with LIN (for Nebraska receipts). Did you input your receipt number with the letters?

I did input it with the letter and it told me it is not valid. I am still not able to see my case
